Destination weddings may not always be easy to plan, but you’re always happy you did it after. Katie and Nick both hail from California. They were planning their Kauai wedding from afar for months. Yet somehow they were able to think of every single detail. Literally everything. They wanted it to be an experience for each of their guests, and boy was it. It was even an experience for ME! I was simply capturing their day, but I somehow also felt part of their family. Everyone was so warm, inviting, you would have that Kauai was their home and they were inviting me in!

And that’s what I loved most about this wedding… how family-oriented it was. Katie and Nick had family fly out from all over the country. Helps when they have such an amazing location as Plantation Gardens. This was one for the books, guys. Hope you enjoy these photos!!
