Alice + Shane | Yokohama Bay Engagement Session | Hawaii Wedding Photographer

This was hands down one of the most fun shoots I’ve done.

Alice and Shane were down to do anything - run and chase each other, carry each other, jump into the water. I fed off of their willingness to try new things and we caught some amazing moments! Not to mention the sunset on this day was absolutely gorgeous. But then again, it usually is on the west side of the island.

Yokohama Bay is the farthest west beach you can get. It’s arguably the best view of sunset. I expected a warm and beautiful golden hour. What I didn’t expect was the incredible blues that would show up right before. The juxtaposition of warmth from the sun and coolness of the blues complimented each other so well! It’s a unique color palette that’s hard to recreate.
