Brandon and Olivia have been together for seven years. They met doing Drum Corps with the Blue Devils (if you don’t know what that is, please go down the YouTube rabbit hole - you won't be disappointed). After several nationwide tours, several moves, and a pandemic, they were finally able to tie the knot with all of their friends and family present. It was a party to remember!

I’d never shot a wedding in San Luis Obispo before. I’d actually never BEEN to San Luis Obispo. So this was a beautiful and fun trip. My wife and I came in only for a couple days. It wasn’t nearly long enough. We certainly want to return sometime soon. I mentioned this in previous blog posts, but the light is always different from state to state. California is so huge that the light is sometimes different from city to city. Whereas Hawaii is usually very bright, colorful, vibrant - the light here in SLO is very soft, neutral, and diffused. It made for some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken.

Brandon and Olivia, you are lifelong friends. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for your marriage. Being a part of your special day was an immense pleasure. Thank you for allowing us to capture it!
