Marjorie + Neil | Makapu'u Beach and Lookout | Hawaii Wedding Photographer

This couple is simply the sweetest. They were visiting Oahu on vacation, but they got engaged on the Big Island. They wanted a location that evoked the black lava rock of the Big Island, but also was close to the water. The first place we thought of was Makapu’u. I’ve shot here a number of times, and each time it’s a little different - but always so beautful.

This was also another sunrise shoot. We were all a little tired to begin with, but once we got going, it was marvelous. Proof yet again that sunrise shoots are always a good idea.
