Larissa + Kai | Moana Surfrider Wedding | Hawaii Wedding Photographer

Larissa and Kai had to change the date of their wedding three times due to COVID, but you’d never know, because their attitude from the get-go was always just to smile, take everything in stride, and keep moving forward. I think that’s why their wedding was so fun, relaxed, and special.

Moana Surfrider is a beautiful location for getting those clean and modern looks. Tchin Tchin is an incredible little location for an intimate downtown rooftop vibe. But the best part of this day was spending time with Kai and Larissa’s families. Some of them came from the mainland. Some of them were local. It was hard to tell which was which though, because everyone was just one big ‘ohana. They even took me in and made me feel like one of their own. It made this whole day unforgettable.

Larissa and Kai, thank you for letting me be a part of this! And big mahalo to Sally over at Arluis Weddings for being so incredible as always! You all took a crazy situation and turned it into a beautiful experience.
